    Avcraft has recently more than doubled in size with a long awaited lease on the former Gerber Products Aviation complex.  The "Avcraft Jet Center" adds nearly 10,000 sq. feet of hangar and office space.  We are proud to offer more than 16,000 sq. feet to serve your needs.  We also operate the Fremont Municipal Airport terminal. Featuring 2,000 square feet including a pilot's lounge / flight planning area, clean restrooms, dining area with microwave, snacks, pop machine, ice cream,  fax and high speed, wireless internet access.

    Always wanted to fly? Our staff CFII can show you how. Starting with your private pilot license, (16 years old to be a student, 17 to get your license), to gaining the additional ratings of instrument, commercial, and certified flight instructor.     Avcraft also has several things to offer the non-flying public. From airplane and glider rides for birthdays, sightseeing, color tours, etc. (gift certificates are available), to a variety of fly/drive-ins with activities for everyone.

    EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association), Chapter #578 calls 3FM home. With activities like Young Eagles, (working to introduce our teenagers to the world of flight), and multiple pancake breakfast fly-ins, the EAA does their part to promote fun, safe aviation.

 
     Into non-powered silent flight? The Fremont Glider Club provides rides and training toward your glider rating.
